Responsibilities
- Identifying new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations available
- Building relationships with start-ups and corporate clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
- Working with corporate clients to run paid accelerator programmes for start-ups
- Leading team to work with resellers and partners to sell the GFA subscriptions in each country under region
- Creating marketing/sales strategies to successfully sell GFA subscriptions in countries under their region
- Maintaining and developing profitable relationships with current clients
- Pitching sales and products to new and existing clients (Start-ups and Investors)
- Increasing the GFA portfolio of Start-ups and Investors
- Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and staying up-to-date with new business opportunities
- Creating sales forecasts and actively working towards reaching them
- Possessing a strong understanding of the company’s products and effectively positioning GFA products/subscriptions in own region
- Providing leadership and mentoring for own team
- Collaborating with other Regional Managers for ideas and programme implementation
- Partnering with the Programmes’ team to create activities that will enhance business success in region of assignment
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Sales or Business Development Manager or similar role
- Familiarity with Subscription Service Sales
- Working knowledge of analytics tools
- Ability to manage and combine data
- Strong decision-making skill
- Excellent communication skill
- Graduate of Marketing or Sales. M.Sc Marketing or MBA will be an added advantage .
